We get into all the nooks and crannies to make sure you moving into or leaving out of a clean and sanitized home! We get in all the cabinets, windows and window sills and more! Pre-home showing cleaning is essentially a deep clean with a little slice of organizing and making the home pretty before your open house! This service has proven to help sellers get faster offers, more offers and higher offers! Packing/unpacking service. Anyone who’s moved knows how hectic and draining it is, especially if you have kids! We offer packing and unpacking services. While packing we label all the boxes and put things together that just make sense. For unpacking, we organize as we’re unpacking as well as dust/clean the items.
Parents Helper, Postpartum Care service, Nesting
This service is very important to the owner of Southern Home Sweet Home Cleaning as she went through a very traumatic birth and postpartum PTSD. She understands in depth the needs of mama and baby. When you get home from the hospital, the only thing you should worry about is snuggling that beautiful little one. The dishes, laundry, tidying up, meal prep, dinner/lunch, routine cleaning and restocking home supplies like toilet paper, we got you covered! We offer this service as often as you need/want it. We recommend booking your appointment with us ahead of time to lock in on the schedule. We are knowledgeable on all baby needs, breastfeeding friendly and knowledgeable. Judgement free and here too help! Our Parents helper “it takes a village” service is our most popular service! We go above and beyond, doing everything in the home you normally would, from dishes to laundry and sorting clothing sizes!
Senior Care Service
We offer a fully customizable senior cleaning service! With age, getting to do everything around the house is not only difficult but dangerous. We’re here to help you with all your house chores, laundry, dishes, help with organizing so you can reach things easier and more! You can also count on us to treat your loved ones as if they were our own family. That goes for all our services. We treat your family as if our own. We love staying with families for years and watching you all grow!
Organization
An unorganized kitchen, playroom or home can make you feel so overwhelmed. It leads to over stimulation and anxiety. If you already have anxiety, it makes it worse! I have over 5+ years organizing homes and helping people get better control of their items/home needs.
Most other organizing companies just quote per project and organize Pintrist style to make things look nice and neat. Southern Home Sweet Home works with you so that when we organize, we do it the best way for YOUR needs. When we organize things based off the clients needs, we get long lasting results! Consultations are required first via phone or email. Then a walk through and planning visit to go over the type of organizing you want, whether it’s bins, hanging, etc.
Mental Health Clean
Everyone is going through something, big or small. Has anyone ever told you the following?
“Just wash your dishes, it’s not that hard.”
“Just put the trash in a bag and toss it out! Why is there trash everywhere?”
“Why does your house smell?”
“Why don’t you just pick one small task to do everyday?”
To someone that is suffering from mental health these words are stabbing to them. It’s uncalled for.
Especially from close friends and family. What’s even worse is when someone does the “small task” and people make a comment “wow it looks like you finally picked up!” Or something similar.
Their words may not be meant in rudeness, but it's easy to be taken as such due to their inability to put themselves in someone else's shoes and your vulnerability in the situation.

We don’t judge for mold growing on your dishes, or not being able to see the counters.
We don’t judge for the odor, pet hair, stains. Haven’t switched the laundry and keep rewashing it? That’s fine! Haven’t washed your shower in months? That’s ok!
I know your going to be very embarrassed and it’s going to be hard for you to call me, because you don’t want anyone to see. Truth is we are all human, I also have been in a spot with my mental health with PTSD and postpartum anxiety, I’ve sat in the couch crying because my home was just chaos, I had no more clean socks, the washer has been filled and wet for days, no more clean cups for more coffee. I felt like a failure. I needed help.
That’s why I am here- I am here for you, because I understand. I will never judge you.

Learning to take care of yourself is hard especially if you grew up in a non-supportive home. I need you to know it's not your fault. We are products of our environment and if we're never taught how to do things as children, all the while living with any sort of mental or physical illness or challenge, how can we be expected take care of things were never taught too?
